About The Position

This role supports Pratt & Whitney’s F135 West Palm Beach Aftermarket facility by developing and maintaining maintenance process engineering instructions for the disassembly, repair, assembly, and testing of gas-turbine engines. The engineer will interpret technical data, issue instructions packages, approve complex work control documents, and ensure hardware configuration accuracy. Responsibilities also include participating in investigations of process breakdowns, implementing corrective actions, creating and improving standard work, assisting mechanics with new technical data, and supporting other MRO production lines to meet delivery schedules. The position offers learning opportunities in gas-turbine engine maintenance, standard work development, hardware configuration verification, troubleshooting, F135 Aftermarket operations, cross-functional problem-solving, precision measurement, and enterprise systems like SAP. Familiarity with Environmental, Health & Safety best practices in a complex aerospace environment will also be gained.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline OR 4 years of process, assembly or manufacturing engineering experience on gas-turbine engines in lieu of a degree.
  • 2+ years of process, assembly or manufacturing engineering experience on gas-turbine engines (with a degree).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Willingness to work 1st shift, work overtime when needed, and respond to off-hours process questions.
