About The Position

Metrohm USA, the North American division of Metrohm AG, a global leader in analytical instruments for laboratory and process applications, is seeking an experienced Process Analytics Sales Representative to join their field-based sales team. This role will cover the Midwest Region of the United States, focusing on selling complex analytical and process instrumentation to customers in industries such as Chemical, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical, and Biotechnology. The position requires owning and growing sales within a defined territory, developing and executing business plans, managing key accounts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven success selling complex capital equipment or technical solutions
  • Experience managing a large, high-potential sales territory
  • Strong consultative selling and account management skills
  • Ability to communicate technical and economic value
  • 6–10 years of relevant sales experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 60–70%)
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, field-based role
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass pre-employment background check, education and employment verification, and a 10-panel drug screening (including marijuana)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow sales within a defined Midwest territory

  • Develop and execute a focused territory and business development plan
  • Manage key accounts and build relationships at multiple decision-making levels
  • Partner with internal technical and corporate teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Track opportunities and activities using the company CRM
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales objectives
