About The Position

Launch your career in process improvement by supporting the identification, documentation, and optimization of business processes. As a Process Analyst, you will work closely with experienced team members to map processes, analyze data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This entry-level role is designed to build foundational skills in process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and professional communication, providing a pathway for growth within the Process Improvement team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of full-time work experience
  • Training or exposure to Business Process Management (BPM) tools and methodologies; adherence to established standards and procedures
  • Experience or training in process mapping, modeling, and reengineering, including mapping current and ideal processes and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Exposure to process improvement, consulting basics, and participation in team-based problem-solving
  • Basic facilitation skills and ability to overcome simple obstacles in meetings
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with others, share ideas, and show initiative in team settings
  • Familiarity with process flow diagrams and basic process design concepts
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Incorporate appropriate security and data privacy safeguards into work activities, communications and deliverables to protect sensitive, confidential and regulated information
  • Bachelor’s in Business, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management

Nice To Haves

  • Training or coursework in Lean, Six Sigma, or Business Process Management (BPM)
  • Experience with process mapping tools (such as Microsoft Visio, LucidChart)
  • Exposure to data collection and analysis for process improvement
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment

Responsibilities

  • Create and interpret process maps (such as SIPOC, swimlane diagrams) using organizational standards and tools; accurately capture process steps, roles, handoffs, and decision points
  • Participate in pain point analysis sessions, capturing and categorizing process inefficiencies and frustrations; apply Lean principles to identify improvement opportunities
  • Assist in the application of basic root cause analysis techniques (such as 5 Whys) to understand underlying drivers of process issues
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions for potential solutions, focusing on identifying and articulating clear actions and anticipated benefits
  • Assist with the collection and analysis of relevant process data (cycle times, volumes, error rates) to support problem definition and solution validation
  • Draft and organize key process improvement artifacts, such as problem statements, current state analyses, solution outlines, and implementation plans, adhering to organizational templates and quality standards
  • Actively listen to stakeholders, ask clarifying and probing questions, and synthesize diverse perspectives to support effective communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Begin developing facilitation skills for small group discussions or presenting findings on process segments or quick win proposals
  • Collaborate proactively with process owners, subject matter experts, and the Process Excellence team to support cross-functional initiatives
  • Demonstrate adaptability, openness to feedback, and a willingness to learn new tools and concepts rapidly
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions, proactively seek opportunities to contribute, manage time effectively, and take ownership of assigned tasks
