Generally responsible for creating Instrumented Protective System (IPS) inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance (ITPM) procedures for use by plant maintenance personnel in ensuring full-functionality and reliability of IPS. Primary responsibilities will include ensuring IPS ITPM procedures are in compliance with applicable regulatory, industry, and company codes and standards, standardizing existing IPS ITPM procedures with new requirements, and working with facility IPS Coordinators, I/E/A Maintenance Technicians, and Operations Representatives to ensure the IPS ITPM procedures can be performed as written without significant affects to plant operations. This role also involves field verification of IPS instrumentation, determining the best procedure content for equipment reliability and personnel safety, revising and/or removing IPS ITPM procedures as required, reviewing and submitting information for equipment records and preventative maintenance plans in SAP, redlining and updating PSI, coordinating the scheduling and testing of IPS ITPM, and assisting with the closure of gaps with applicable codes and standards. Additionally, the role includes reviewing plant equipment for inclusion in the instrumented mechanical integrity program.
