About The Position

The Problem Solver is part of GOAT’s Operations team, which manages the worldwide distribution network, authenticates sneakers, fulfills orders, and helps ensure on-time delivery. The role resolves order issues by documenting them and communicating with buyers and sellers according to marketplace guidelines, then helping return orders to the fulfillment flow for same-day shipment. It also involves understanding sneaker conditions and GOAT order statuses, triaging escalated orders, picking inventory, processing orders and returns, and taking accurate photos of sneakers. The work takes place in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and includes handling merchandise and moving equipment.

This position requires standing for extended periods, lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 35 pounds, and occasionally working extended hours, including weekends and holidays, when business needs require it. Requirements

• Highly organized with demonstrated attention to detail.
• Background dealing directly with customers and suppliers.
• Willing and able to operate carts, dollies, and other moving equipment to move quantities of merchandise.
• A quick learner and self-starter who can work independently and handle increasing responsibility.
• Able to stand for long periods, up to 12 hours.
• Able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Document issues and communicate with sellers and buyers to reach an optimal resolution according to marketplace guidelines.
• Ensure orders in the fulfillment flow are resolved and returned to the flow for same-day shipment.
• Develop an understanding of shoe conditions, particularly those considered issues by GOAT standards.
• Pick shoes from inventory and process specific returns and orders for buyers and sellers.
• Take photos of sneakers quickly and accurately.
• Develop an understanding of GOAT order statuses to help triage escalated orders.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
