About The Position

Our boutique law firm focuses on Estate Planning, Probate, Guardianship, and Trust Administration throughout Florida. We are looking for a dedicated Probate Paralegal to join our team long-term. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing probate matters with limited supervision from start to finish.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Florida probate (wills & trusts) experience
• Strong understanding of Florida Probate Code and Rules
• Experience drafting and filing probate pleadings
• Familiarity with Clio Manage (preferred) or similar systems
• Experience with LexisNexis or similar research tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently
• Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through

Nice To Haves

• Experience with trust administrations or guardianships
• Familiarity with LexisNexis automated forms
• Comfortable with recording real time spent in a matter
• Strong technical skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Florida Notary
• Positive, team-oriented, and professional
• Adaptable as processes and systems evolve

Responsibilities

• Draft and review probate pleadings and related filings
• Manage client communication and maintain organized case files
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and similar tools
• File pleadings through the Florida Courts E-Filing Portal
• Support attorneys with litigation and trial preparation as needed
• Assist with general administrative tasks when needed
