About The Position

The Department of Anthropology at the University of Oregon is soliciting applications for its pro tem instructor open pool. Positions are limited-duration appointments (typically one academic term of 10 weeks) potentially renewable for up to a total of three years. In limited circumstances, there is the possibility of renewal beyond three years based on programmatic need, funding, and performance.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Anthropology or related field.

  • PhD in Anthropology or related field
  • Experience teaching undergraduate courses in Anthropology
