About The Position

The Department of the History of Art & Architecture (“HAA”) at the University of Oregon is seeking qualified applicants for its pro tem teaching pool. These are limited duration appointments, potentially renewable for up to a total of three years, and may be contingent on funding. The salary is dependent on education and experience. Requirements

  • Master's degree in Art and/or Architectural History or other related field required prior to appointment.
  • All but dissertation (ABD) may also be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Excellent record of scholarly, creative, or other professional accomplishment in a relevant field.
  • Prior college or university-level teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in the History of Art and Architecture.
  • Facilitate student learning and communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Work cooperatively with diverse faculty and student populations.
