About The Position

This role is for a Pro Sales Rep, Customer Pickup, who is diligent, thoughtful, and takes pride in precision. The individual will work thoroughly and with a sense of urgency, with a passion for elevating the community’s outdoor spaces. Being of service is rewarding, and the candidate should be understanding, people-oriented, and persistent. The role requires a keen sense of duty and a penchant for planning, bringing a supportive and grounded presence.

Requirements

A belief in and passion for our purpose – beautifying our community.
2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
The ability to manage multiple, competing priorities with a consistently positive response to pressure.
The ability to bend and lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a variety of weather conditions.
A supportive team player who anticipates problems and works collaboratively to solve them.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily tasks, projects, and processes that keep the customer pickup process accurate, fast, and healthy.
Help customers receive the products they’ve purchased.
Champion the importance of defined processes.
Serve as the expert of the customer-facing side of the Nursery Yard Pro team.
Model our Customer Journey: The 15:5 Rule, Be the Guide, Keep It Seamless, Forget-Me-Nots, and Close the Deal.
Champion the Pro experience, partnering with the Merchandising + Pro Sales team to manage the needs of our Pro customers.
Lead the order pickup process, including completion of pick lists, loading customers, and weekly audits for overdue orders.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of Customer Pickup 1A, 1B, and 1C by ensuring each area is free of weeds, trash, and products that are not yellow-flagged and SOLD-tagged to standard.
