About The Position

This role is for a Pro Paint Specialist (PPS) working within a Home Depot store, focusing on the unique needs of professional painting contractors. The specialist will build relationships with local pros, introduce them to Behr products, and provide exceptional customer service. This includes collaborating with contractors to select the right products, mixing paint, gathering necessary tools, and ensuring a quick and efficient checkout experience, aiming to replicate a paint store experience within the Home Depot environment. The position requires an outgoing personality, basic computer skills for customer relationship management, and the ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. Collaboration with Behr's outside sales representatives and Home Depot staff is essential. While not required, bilingual skills are a plus. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Introduce yourself to contractors and build relationships by understanding their business and needs.
Maintain relationships and follow up regarding their jobs and future needs.
Collaborate with Behr's outside sales reps and take care of customers who come into the store.
Pull and tint orders for pick up.
Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
Work closely with Home Depot staff as a vendor, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor.
Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce, the customer relationship management tool.
