About The Position

This role focuses on serving professional painting contractors and their unique needs within a Home Depot store. The Pro Sales Associate will build relationships with local pros, introduce themselves to contractors, understand their business and needs, and follow up regarding their jobs and future requirements. The position involves collaborating with Behr's outside sales representatives and Home Depot staff, pulling and tinting orders for pickup, and providing a "paint store experience" to professional customers. Basic computer skills for customer relationship management software and occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs are required. Bilingualism is a plus.

Requirements

Basic computer skills to use customer management software.

A high school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

Work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focusing on professional painting contractors.
Meet and form relationships with local pros who rely on Behr.
Build relationships with pros in the store.
Collaborate with outside reps to get contractors the right products for their needs.
Mix paint and collect sundry paint tools.
Ensure contractors are in and out of the store quickly.
Make professional customers feel like they had a paint store experience.
Support the Home Depot Pro Desk and introduce yourself to contractors.
Get to know contractors, their business, and their needs.
Maintain relationships and follow up regarding their jobs and any future needs.
Pull and tint orders for pick up.
Work closely with Behr's outside sales reps.
Work closely with the Home Depot staff.
Enter new leads and contacts into Salesforce.
Occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
