About The Position
This role is for a Pro Paint Specialist working in a Home Depot store, focusing on the unique needs of professional painting contractors. The specialist will build relationships with local pros, introduce them to Behr products, and provide exceptional customer service. This includes understanding their needs, recommending the right products, mixing paint, collecting necessary tools, and ensuring a quick and efficient checkout process, aiming to provide a "paint store experience" within the Home Depot environment. The position also involves collaborating with Behr's outside sales representatives and Home Depot staff, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor to foster mutually beneficial relationships. Basic computer skills are required for using customer relationship management software like Salesforce, and bilingual abilities are considered a bonus. A high school diploma or GED is a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities
- Work in a Home Depot store as a sales specialist focusing on professional painting contractors.
- Meet and form relationships with local professional painters who rely on Behr products.
- Collaborate with outside sales representatives to assist contractors sent to the store.
- Understand contractor needs, recommend appropriate products, mix paint, and gather sundry paint tools.
- Ensure professional customers have a positive and efficient experience.
- Introduce yourself to contractors, get to know their business and needs, and follow up regarding their jobs.
- Pull and tint orders for pick up.
