Pro Influencer Manager (Hybrid)

Beauty Industry GroupLos Angeles, CA
Hybrid

About The Position

BELLAMI's influence in the professional community is our single biggest asset. This role owns paid influencer partnerships end-to-end across all four tiers and builds the operating model underneath them, including talent sourcing and tiering, deal structuring and pricing, deliverable tracking, and performance measurement against KPIs. The Pro Influencer Manager will build the program, process, and reporting layer for a future team, requiring comfort with both negotiating with talent managers and building performance-proving spreadsheets.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, or talent management, including direct ownership of a paid influencer budget.
  • Experience at a modern beauty brand (hair, color, tools, skin, or cosmetics) with meaningful exposure to a professional or salon-channel audience. Agency experience on beauty accounts is also considered.
  • Demonstrated fluency with the professional beauty community, including stylist relationships, education programs, trade shows, or licensed-pro audiences.
  • Track record negotiating and managing paid creator agreements, including retainers and usage/whitelisting rights.
  • Proven experience building or substantially rebuilding a measurement framework, including defining KPIs and the decisions they influenced.
  • Working knowledge of influencer management and affiliate platforms.
  • Comfort with spreadsheets and dashboards to build independent analysis.
  • Experience managing multi-tier ambassador, affiliate, or advocacy programs at scale.
  • Excellent written communication skills for briefs, contracts, and reporting.
  • Willingness to travel for shoots, classes, and industry events (approximately 15–20%).

Nice To Haves

  • Active cosmetology license, or hands-on experience behind the chair.
  • Experience with hair extensions specifically (wearing, installing, or selling them).
  • Prior experience establishing an influencer function.
  • Paid social and creator-whitelisting experience.
  • Experience with international or multi-market ambassador rosters.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the full paid influencer strategy and annual roadmap across all four tiers, aligned with launch calendar, education enrollment goals, and pro-account acquisition targets.
  • Manage the pro influencer budget allocation across tiers, including forecasting, reconciliation, and strategic allocation of future investments.
  • Source, negotiate, and execute paid agreements, including retainers, per-post fees, usage and whitelisting rights, exclusivity, and performance-based structures, partnering with Legal and Finance.
  • Build a disciplined pipeline for talent sourcing and vetting, evaluating based on audience quality, professional credibility, content standard, and brand fit, not just follower count.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Global and Brand Ambassadors, managing briefs, approvals, expectations, renewals, and fostering a partner relationship.
  • Define the KPI structure for the program, establishing accountability for each tier, defining success metrics, and determining impact attribution to revenue and pro-account growth.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reporting to leadership at partnership, tier, and program levels, including clear recommendations.
  • Select and implement the platform stack for influencer discovery, tracking, affiliate links, and reporting, ensuring data hygiene for trustworthy numbers.
  • Collaborate with Pro Social and Paid Media teams to amplify high-performing partner content through whitelisting and paid amplification, securing necessary usage rights.
  • Design the Stylist Insider seeding model to ensure product seeding generates measurable content and conversion.
  • Ensure the influencer program is integrated with Education, Pro Sales, Creative, and E-Commerce teams to support key business objectives.
  • Document processes, define roles, and build the business case for the future team structure of the influencer function.
