About The Position
Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is hiring a PRN Treatment Support Technician at our inpatient facility, Abe's Place, in Center Township, PA. This role is for individuals who thrive in a structured environment and want work that matters. The technician will be a key part of the treatment team, responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful, and recovery-focused environment during overnight hours, allowing residents to rest, reset, and heal.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to stay awake, alert, and engaged overnight
- Valid driver's license plus a clean driving record
- Willingness to complete required PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting clearances, drug screen, TB test, and CPR/First Aid.
Nice To Haves
- Lived experience in recovery (18+ months in recovery required)
Responsibilities
- Supporting clients through overnight programming and activities
- Monitoring safety, behavior, and daily living needs
- Acting as a liaison between clients and clinical staff
- Assisting with intakes, paperwork, assessments, and documentation
- Assisting during crises (with training and supervision)
- Transporting clients to meetings or appointments when needed
- Supporting recovery-focused routines with empathy and professionalism
