About The Position
Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is hiring a PRN Treatment Support Technician at our women's halfway house, Lighthouse for Women, in Washington, PA. This role is for individuals seeking a meaningful job where they can make a difference and stay busy in a structured environment. The position involves being a key part of the treatment team, maintaining a safe, respectful, recovery-focused environment for residents. The work is engaging, with no two days being the same.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to stay awake, alert, and engaged overnight.
- Valid driver’s license plus a clean driving record.
- Willingness to complete required PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting clearances, drug screen, 2-Step TB test, and CPR/First Aid.
Nice To Haves
- Lived experience (18+ months in recovery required) is welcomed.
Responsibilities
- Supporting clients through overnight programming and activities.
- Monitoring safety, behavior, and daily living needs.
- Acting as a go-between for clients and clinical staff.
- Helping with intakes, paperwork, assessments, and documentation.
- Assisting during crises (with training and supervision).
- Transporting clients to meetings or appointments when needed.
- Supporting recovery-focused routines with empathy and professionalism.
- Receiving frequent supervision, guidance, and training.
