About The Position

This PRN position requires minimum of 116 hours in a 6 week schedule with 36 hours of off shift (1500-0730) and 24 hours of weekend (Friday 1500-Monday 0730). Full time orientation will be required for several months and could be on any shift based on preceptor assignments and stage of orientation. The length of orientation depends on experience. Candidates must have 1-2 years ICU experience, preferably pediatric. New graduates are not being considered. Responsibilities include being a partner in the care management team, providing coordination and management of patient care to pediatric patients and families within a continuum of care and delegating patient activities as appropriate within a care management assignment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (or equivalent academic and/or professional experience)
• License to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin
• 1-2 years ICU experience, preferably pediatric
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification - American Heart Association (AHA) training required within 90 days
• BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council
• License RN-Registered Nurse (30) - State of Wisconsin
• PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/National Safety Council
