The PRN Chaplain provides compassionate, patient-centered spiritual care and emotional support to patients, families, and team members of all faiths, beliefs, and backgrounds. This role collaborates with physicians, nurses, social workers, and the multidisciplinary care team to address the spiritual and emotional needs of those experiencing illness, crisis, grief, or end-of-life care while upholding Orlando Health’s commitment to excellence and compassionate service. The Chaplain is responsible for conducting spiritual assessments, providing pastoral care, responding to emergency and crisis situations, supporting families through difficult healthcare decisions, facilitating spiritual resources when requested, and contributing to a culture of holistic healing in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
