Requirements

Active, unrestricted nursing license in their state of practice.
BLS certification required.
One year of current nursing experience required.
Exceptional time management skills, good clinical judgement, and the ability to multi-task.
Well-developed interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and patients.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Nice To Haves

Previous infusion experience is a plus.
One year of experience with infusion therapy, including patient assessment skills, venous access skills and emergency patient care, preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides infusion and other skilled nursing care to patients such as patient assessments, patient/caregiver education, responding to patient needs.
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times; Strictly follows HIPAA laws and regulations.
Participates in staff meetings and in-services as required.
Abides by organizational policies and procedures as well as state/federal rules/regulations.
