About The Position

Piccard Surgery Center is seeking an experienced PRN Operating Room Registered Nurse to support their orthopedic spine cases. This PRN role is typically needed every Thursday, with some Mondays. The OR RN provides safe, efficient, and patient-centered nursing care during surgical procedures. As the Circulating RN, you will be responsible for patient positioning, prepping, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring seamless coordination throughout the case. Hands-on experience assisting with Orthopedic Spine cases is required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS required (ACLS or PALS as required by the center)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an OR Circulator
• Required experience assisting with Ortho Spine cases
• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered nursing care during surgical procedures.
• Act as the Circulating RN, responsible for patient positioning, prepping, and maintaining a sterile environment.
• Ensure seamless coordination throughout the surgical case.
• Assist with Orthopedic Spine cases.
