About The Position

Reports and receives assignments from the Manager and works cooperatively with others in the areas of patient care, staffing recommendations, and trouble shooting. Interacts interdependently with various hospital departments, Home Care, Hospice, Home Services, Utilization Management, and Home Medical Equipment, as well as physicians, outside vendors, insurance companies and other third party payers, case managers, and members of the community.

Requirements

Graduation from a recognized school of nursing
Current Michigan RN licensure
At least five years experience in home health and or applicable medical/surgical nursing in the acute care setting
Possesses current Michigan motor vehicle license
Ability to drive a car
Insured vehicle capable of transport to patient homes or other offices under various weather conditions
Employees must be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
Employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
