About The Position

This is a great opportunity to work where you play! You are a qualified clinical professional seeking an opportunity to work on a casual basis at Moab Regional Hospital to perform a wide range of general clinical duties, providing direct and indirect patient care in subspecialties within the Medical-Surgical, Emergency, Surgical, Urgent Care, Family Medicine, Outpatient Nursing and Hospice departments, based on your training and qualifications. You are available to be scheduled for work or on-call shifts at a minimum of one (1) shift per six (6) month period.

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered Utah or compact state RN license (or license required for your specialty)
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience after licensure, required.
  • Current BLS certification, required.
  • Current in all subspecialty certifications required for hiring department, required.
  • Reliably able to cover work or on-call shifts at least once in a 6 month period, required.
  • Knowledge of infection control principles, patient safety techniques, and prevention of adverse reactions to medications/treatments.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to maintain same in situations with rapidly changing circumstances.
  • Self-motivated and able to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
  • Great customer service and communication skills, including oral, written, and listening skills.
  • Able to receive and manage sensitive information professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Able to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally; emotionally mature.

Nice To Haves

  • RNs who are qualified to work in multiple departments will earn a higher pay rate for accepting work or on-call shifts in multiple departments within a six (6) month period.
