About The Position

Munson Healthcare is seeking a pediatrician or Family Medicine Physician to provide nursery call coverage at the following Munson Healthcare locations: Gaylord, Grayling, Charlevoix, and Cadillac. This unique opportunity offers flexibility for those looking for per diem or ancillary work. The physician who provides nursery call coverage will be reimbursed for food, travel, and all lodging expenses incurred during a call shift.

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Successful completion of an approved U.S. Residency training program approved by the Accrediting Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) of the American Medical Association, or the American Osteopathic Association or its equivalent.
• Board eligible/certified for pediatric or family medicine practice in the State of Michigan
• NRP
• STABLE recommended
• Providers must be within 30 miles of hospital
• Providers are credentialed at all possible sites and must go where assigned

Nice To Haves

• Endotracheal intubation skillset

Responsibilities

• Provide routine newborn care
• Establish access (UVC preferred, IV acceptable, IO emergent)
• Ventilate (NIPPV, neopuff or bag) (mandatory)
• Endotracheal intubation skillset (preferred)
