The Gerber Med Surg unit is a 13-bed unit, with 4 observation beds and 9 inpatient beds. The unit is currently undergoing renovations to improve the environment for both patients and staff. Gerber Med Surg serves a large patient population and is a vital part of the hospital, offering telemedicine services in pulmonology, neurology, infectious disease, and wound care, with palliative care services coming soon. The unit also has access to on-site MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, general and orthopedic surgery, care management, and medical social workers, with a strong focus on providing quality local care. Gerber Hospital has a long history of providing exceptional healthcare to the community, utilizing experienced doctors and advanced technology. The Gerber ICU is an 11-bed unit, with 2 observation beds and 9 inpatient beds, also scheduled for renovations. It is a mixed unit accommodating both Med/Surg and ICU patients, offering telemedicine services in pulmonology, neurology, infectious disease, wound, and VICU, with palliative care services planned. Similar to Med Surg, the ICU has on-site access to MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, general and orthopedic surgery, care management, and medical social workers, emphasizing local quality care.
