Gerber Med Surg is a 13-bed unit, with 4 observation beds and 9 inpatient beds, currently undergoing a refresh including new paint, flooring, artwork, a new nurses' station, breakroom, and staff bathroom. As a cornerstone of the hospital, it serves the largest patient population and offers telemedicine services in pulmonology, neurology, infectious disease, and wound care, with palliative care services coming soon. The unit also has access to MRI services six days a week, CT, fluoroscopy, general and orthopedic surgery, care management, and medical social workers, with a strong focus on providing quality local care. Gerber Hospital has a long-standing commitment to community health and exceptional patient experiences, offering access to experienced doctors, advanced technology, and wellness programs. Gerber ICU is an 11-bed unit, with 2 observation beds and 9 inpatient beds, also scheduled for a refresh. It is a mixed unit accommodating both Med/Surg and ICU patients. Similar to the Med Surg unit, the ICU offers telemedicine services in pulmonology, neurology, infectious disease, wound care, and VICU, with palliative care services planned. It also has access to MRI services six days a week, CT, fluoroscopy, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, care management, and medical social workers, emphasizing local quality care.
