About The Position

Lumexa Imaging, a large provider of outpatient medical imaging, is seeking an ARRT registered MRI Technologist to join their partner, American Health Imaging, on a PRN basis at their Anderson outpatient imaging center. This role involves performing high-quality MRI examinations, providing patient-centered care, and ensuring patient safety and comfort. The technologist will collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members, maintain accurate documentation, and adhere to all regulatory and quality standards. The position requires a strong understanding of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques, as well as the ability to prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
ARRT registered with advanced certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required.
Current CPR certification required.
IV certification/skills required.
Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver exceptional service and quality care.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and quality standards.
Assist with lifting, transferring, and positioning patients safely.
Help patients on and off the MRI table and into wheelchairs as needed.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday while performing patient care duties.
