About The Position

Curant Health is seeking a PRN Member Care Assistant / Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our growing team. This PRN opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking a flexible schedule while making a meaningful impact on patient care. Candidates must be available to complete a two-week onsite training period at our Smyrna, GA location and commit to working at least one day per week thereafter. Training hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Following successful completion of training, PRN team members will be scheduled based on business needs and their availability, with a minimum commitment of one day per week. This position is primarily responsible for performing duties related to supporting the clinical services team, to include, but not limited to, enrolling patients from assigned clinics, providers, and/or direct patient outreach initiatives into Care Management. The CMA must review and document in EHRs, contact referrals- explaining the benefits for using Curant Health, and appropriately enroll the referral.

Requirements

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ clerical/clinical experience in a healthcare setting

Nice To Haves

  • Registered as either a Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant in Georgia is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support as assigned by the manager, including printing daily mailings in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs), performing data entry, and completing other clerical or clinical tasks.
  • Deliver a superior customer experience by effectively communicating with all stakeholders—including patients, providers, pharmacies, and other partners—via phone.
  • Support the MEOT Team by assisting with tasks and activities that promote improved patient adherence.
  • Organize and prioritize daily workload to align with company goals and departmental priorities.
  • Ensure clear, accurate, and complete documentation at all times.
  • Work independently to complete daily tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Foster a collaborative environment by maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude within the department.
  • Consistently professional demeanor, reflected in communication, conduct, and approach to problem-solving.
  • Uphold the highest standards of integrity in all aspects of the role.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned while maintaining full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
