About The Position

At Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced imaging technology and a compassionate team approach. We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Mammography Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center in Wheat Ridge on a flexible, as-needed, PRN basis. The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing high-quality mammography procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. This role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience with a strong focus on compassionate care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT (M) required
• State licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image quality, and radiation safety
• Provide compassionate care, recognizing the sensitive nature of mammography exams
• Educate patients on procedures and answer questions to ease anxiety
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain mammography equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards, including MQSA requirements
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
