About The Position

Join IVX Health as a PRN Nurse Practitioner! This role is in an outpatient infusion setting, specifically for the day shift on Saturdays from 7:30 am - 3:00 pm, serving both the Hyde Park Infusion Center and Colerain Infusion Center. IVX Health is redefining infusion care and creating exceptional patient experiences. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality, specialized infusion therapy in an outpatient setting. As a Nurse Practitioner at IVX Health, you will be at the forefront of delivering personalized, compassionate care. Your expertise in infusion therapy will be used to oversee patient care, collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team, and serve as a trusted resource for patients, families, and providers, ensuring every treatment is delivered with precision and care.

Requirements

  • Active and Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license (if required by the state).
  • AANP or ANCC board certification required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Strong IV and Infusion Therapy Skills, including experience with specialty biologics, medication management, and emergency response protocols.
  • Proficiency in Clinical Documentation, with experience using EHR systems and a strong understanding of HIPAA and regulatory compliance.
  • Exceptional Communication & Collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to treat a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics.

Nice To Haves

  • PALS certification preferred.
  • Background in an ambulatory infusion center, outpatient specialty clinic, or similar setting is a plus.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver on-site and virtual supervision while administering infusions and injections with precision.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including evaluations and SOAP notes, and monitor treatment responses.
  • Educate and support patients and families through treatment expectations, potential side effects, and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, review nursing documentation, and uphold HIPAA and OSHA standards.
  • Assist with chart preparation and treatment planning to optimize clinical workflows.
  • Collaborate with referring providers and cross-functional teams to enhance care coordination.
  • Support operations and training, including inventory management, prior authorizations, and regulatory adherence.
  • Work at multiple facilities within a designated market as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support patient care and organizational objectives.
