About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care South Jacksonville is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers, HHAs, and CNAs who want flexibility while still having consistent support and meaningful one-on-one client relationships. We work hard to match caregivers with clients who fit their experience, personality, and availability. Requirements

• Current Florida CNA license OR HHA certificate
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
• Minimum availability of approximately 1–4 shifts per month
• Some weekend availability preferred

Nice To Haves

• Dementia or hands-on care experience preferred but not required for all cases

Responsibilities

• Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Companionship and emotional support
• Meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Transportation to appointments or errands
• Dementia support and supervision
• Monitoring safety and changes in condition
• Accurate documentation and communication with the office team
