About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care South Jacksonville is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers, HHAs, and CNAs who want flexibility while still having consistent support and meaningful one-on-one client relationships. We work hard to match caregivers with clients who fit their experience, personality, and availability. This is a great fit for caregivers who want to pick up extra shifts, need flexibility around family or another job, prefer one-on-one care over facility work, and want the option to build toward steady hours over time. As an in-home caregiver, you’ll provide personalized care that helps seniors and adults remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Every client is different, so we focus heavily on caregiver/client matching and setting caregivers up for success.

Requirements

  • Current Florida CNA license OR HHA certificate
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
  • PRN caregivers are not required to maintain full-time availability, but we do ask for dependability and professionalism, consistent communication with scheduling staff, willingness to pick up shifts when available, minimum availability of approximately 1–4 shifts per month, and some weekend availability preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Dementia or hands-on care experience preferred but not required for all cases
