About The Position

Sevaro Health is seeking Privileging Specialists to join their Medical Staff Services team. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient operations within the department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple workflows in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The company is a physician-led, AI-powered virtual neurology and telestroke company dedicated to improving stroke survival rates, particularly in rural and underserved communities, using their Synapse AI platform.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a remote environment.
  • Highly engaged and proactive, results-driven attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure electronic provider records are maintained and updated accurately and regularly.
  • Support the team in obtaining additional documentation and verifications.
  • Ensure Medical Staff Services Department processes are followed for storing, submitting, and sharing documentation.
  • Ensure current statuses and information are documented/displayed in appropriate areas timely.
  • Assist in creating abbreviated CVs for privileging needs.
  • Request Certificates of Insurance (COI) for assigned sites.
  • Ensure providers are registered with state Patient Compensation Funds.
  • Advise Onboarding of site-specific training, certifications, or education required for privilege approval and track progress.
  • Ensure appropriate assignment and timely completion of reappointments, enrollments, references, and other credentialing tasks.
  • Communicate regularly with assigned facilities' Medical Staff Professionals and facilitate the resolution of outstanding items.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of site-specific details and update systems and documentation accordingly.
  • Perform regular follow-up with providers, medical staff offices, and other agencies.
  • Complete or facilitate all steps necessary for pre-applications, initial applications, reappointments, add/change requests, and enrollment applications.
  • Participate in education sessions specific to corporate needs or job duties.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.
  • Assist in audits and other administrative tasks assigned by management.
