About The Position

The Privileged Access Management (PAM) Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and support of enterprise PAM solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments. This role focuses on protecting privileged accounts, credentials, secrets, and privileged sessions while enhancing the organization's security posture through automation, integration, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a hands-on PAM engineer who can troubleshoot Windows and Linux infrastructure, analyze security and operational logs, automate processes using PowerShell and Python, and resolve end-to-end platform integration issues involving servers, applications, databases, cloud environments, and PAM technologies.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting enterprise PAM solutions such as: CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Delinea, Bravura Security, SailPoint PAM, HashiCorp Vault, or similar enterprise PAM technologies.
  • Strong Windows Server administration skills: Active Directory, LDAP, IIS, Certificates, Windows Services, Scheduled Tasks, Networking.
  • Strong Linux administration experience: SSH, Sudo, Service Management, File Permissions, System Logs, Connectivity Troubleshooting.
  • Experience using Splunk or similar SIEM/log analytics platforms.
  • Root cause analysis and troubleshooting experience across PAM, infrastructure, networking, and application environments.
  • Strong scripting and automation experience using: PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell, REST APIs.
  • Experience integrating PAM solutions with: Active Directory, LDAP, Databases, Windows Services, Linux Systems, Cloud Platforms, Enterprise Applications.
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, firewalls, certificates, load balancers, and authentication protocols.
  • Experience developing technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with PAM modernization initiatives and platform upgrades.
  • Cloud security experience in: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • DevOps and CI/CD tools including: Jenkins, Git, Automation Pipelines, API Integrations.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, compliance requirements, and audit controls.
  • Relevant certifications: CISSP, Security+, CyberArk Certifications, BeyondTrust Certifications, Delinea Certifications, Microsoft Azure Certifications, AWS Certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise PAM solutions across on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
  • Enforce least-privilege access models and support privileged account lifecycle management.
  • Automate credential rotation, password management, secrets management, and privileged access workflows.
  • Configure and support privileged session management, monitoring, recording, and auditing capabilities.
  • Integrate PAM platforms with Active Directory, LDAP, cloud platforms, applications, databases, servers, APIs, and security tools.
  • Develop technical specifications, implementation documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.
  • Troubleshoot PAM-related incidents, onboarding failures, access issues, platform performance concerns, and integration challenges.
  • Perform root cause analysis across PAM technologies, operating systems, infrastructure, networking, and connected applications.
  • Support audit, compliance, and risk management initiatives through reporting and privileged access governance.
  • Partner with IAM, Security, Infrastructure, Application, Database, Cloud, and Operations teams to deliver secure PAM solutions.
  • Assist with PAM modernization efforts, platform upgrades, resiliency improvements, and disaster recovery initiatives.
