Privileged Access Management Engineer

About The Position

This role requires hands-on experience in implementing and supporting enterprise Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting issues across PAM, operating systems, networks, and integrated applications, going beyond simple configuration changes. A strong understanding of Windows and Linux administration, along with scripting and automation skills, is essential for onboarding, provisioning, reporting, and operational support. Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, as well as analyzing network and infrastructure issues impacting PAM services, is also required.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience implementing and supporting enterprise PAM solutions such as CyberArk, Bravura, Delinea/, BeyondTrust, SailPoint PAM, or equivalent.
  • Strong Windows Server administration skills, including troubleshooting services, scheduled tasks, certificates, IIS, networking, Active Directory, LDAP, and PAM server components.
  • Strong Linux administration skills with hands-on experience troubleshooting PAM agents/utilities (e.g., PAMUtil), SSH, sudo, service startup issues, file permissions, logs, and connectivity problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis across PAM, operating systems, networks, and integrated applications, not just PAM configuration changes.
  • Experience using Splunk (or similar SIEM/log analytics platforms) to investigate authentication failures, onboarding issues, password rotation failures, and infrastructure incidents.
  • Strong automation and scripting experience using PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell, and REST APIs for onboarding, provisioning, reporting, and operational support.
  • Experience integrating PAM solutions with Active Directory, LDAP, databases, Windows services, Linux systems, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices, including Jenkins, Git, API integrations, and automation pipelines.
  • Ability to analyze network and infrastructure issues involving DNS, firewalls, certificates, load balancers, authentication protocols, and server connectivity impacting PAM services.
