About The Position

Glenmede is seeking interns for its 10-week program, running from June to August 2027, based in Washington D.C. The program offers personal and professional development, insight into future career opportunities, networking events, a final group project, volunteer opportunities, social outings, and exposure to professionals across the business. Interns will gain hands-on experience, skills development, mentorship, and career insights. The Private Wealth division focuses on integrated wealth management to help clients pursue their purpose, passions, and legacy. This involves an integrated approach to anticipating, understanding, and addressing unique client circumstances through personalized solutions. Roles and responsibilities will vary by department, with all interns expected to support a wide range of activities and act professionally. Interns will gain exposure to wealth and investment management businesses, deeper experience in a specific area, and experience collaborating with managers and specialists. The Portfolio Management team oversees daily investment management responsibilities and client service for high-net-worth families, offering exposure to holistic, goals-based wealth and investment management, specifically for those interested in portfolio management, construction, and implementation within private wealth management. The Wealth Advisory team offers comprehensive services including family governance, educational programs, philanthropic guidance, fiduciary services, and administrative services.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and a rising senior, graduating between May 2028-December 2028.
  • Excellent communication skills required.
  • Desire to be in a client facing role.
  • Self-motivated with proactive resolutions and a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated ability to carry out detailed work accurately and on time.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, ability to analyze.
  • Ability to work within a team and on a self-directed basis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States, without sponsorship, for the internship duration.
  • Glenmede will only consider candidates who are currently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Glenmede now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States.
