About The Position

Thrive Education Partners is seeking a skilled math tutor to support two elementary students (3rd & 4th grade) through engaging, one-on-one instruction. This role focuses on extending mathematical thinking, fostering curiosity, independence, and strong problem-solving skills. The students are siblings, both performing at or above grade level, and this is an enrichment-focused role designed to challenge them beyond the standard curriculum while supporting their individual learning styles and goals. The family values personalized instruction, strong communication, and an educator who can build meaningful relationships while helping both students prepare for future competitive academic opportunities. One student is a highly creative learner who enjoys music, engineering-style building projects, and sports, thriving when challenged and benefiting from advanced math instruction alongside support for organization and executive functioning. The second student is an independent, confident learner with a natural aptitude for mathematics, benefiting from positive encouragement as they continue building both academic confidence and strong foundational literacy habits.
