About The Position

Caring Therapists, a group private practice in Florida, is hiring part-time and full-time psychotherapists for its Tampa practice. The position is in person in a private-practice setting, with an expected workload of 15–30 hours per week; full-time status requires 30 or more hours per week. Therapists must be available for afternoon and evening appointments, including 4 p.m.–8 p.m., and may be asked to work weekends. The practice welcomes fully licensed clinicians as well as registered interns and postdoctoral psychology candidates. Candidates should have a clinical niche, such as children, couples, trauma, EMDR, or family therapy. Compensation is commission-based, with listed rates of $60–$70 for registered interns and $70–$120 per hour for licensed clinicians; the range depends on service type, reimbursement rate, licensure, and applicable fee split. Caring Therapists describes itself as a collaborative, supportive group of clinicians with a steady stream of referrals and a well-respected community presence. The practice provides in-person office space and client-facing and administrative support, including scheduling, credentialing, patient-balance assistance, billing, intake coordination, email and phone/fax services, and an electronic health records platform. It also offers monthly group case consultation, paid training and CEU opportunities, and exposure through social media and internet marketing. The practice provides access to insurance panels and completes billing for major commercial healthcare insurers active in Florida. The therapist establishes rapport with patients, assesses and treats mental health disorders, develops and updates individualized treatment plans, provides counseling and evidence-based treatment, monitors progress, and maintains clinical records and confidentiality. The role also involves coordinating with family members and outside specialists when appropriate, maintaining professional credentials and ethical standards, and collaborating with administrative staff and management to support the practice.
