About The Position

HB Wealth Management is seeking a Private Markets Analyst Intern to work in their Buckhead, GA corporate office. This position will assist the Investment Team in accomplishing the overall goal of serving clients. This is a paid internship, beginning May 24, 2027, and running through July 30, 2027. Candidates must submit a letter of interest to be considered. In no more than one page, the letter should explain why the candidate has chosen this field for an internship and how it will benefit their future studies and career.

Requirements

  • Must be a rising senior, working towards a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in investment management, financial markets, and portfolio analysis.
  • Client-focused professional who demonstrates integrity, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills, follow-through, and a proactive mindset suited to fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Ability to successfully pass criminal background / credit check.
  • Candidates must be local or willing to relocate to Buckhead, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Private Investment team members by screening new investment opportunities.
  • Use fund marketing materials & independent research to generate profiles on pre-identified Private Debt and Private Equity managers.
  • Present investment opportunities to the team as they enter the pipeline and recommend opportunities for due diligence.
  • Participate in due diligence meetings with Private Debt and Private Equity managers and take meeting notes for Private Investment team members.
  • Write sections of final Investment Committee memos about new potential investments.
  • Conduct research projects to identify actionable investment opportunities within a particular asset class, sector, and/or geography.
  • Attend investment manager calls/meetings to assist with notetaking.
  • Participate in weekly Private Debt & Equity Committee meetings.
  • Review fund materials to develop investment recommendation skills.
  • Assist with due diligence and performance benchmarking tasks.
  • Complete an end-of-internship capstone project and presentation.
