About The Position

HB Wealth Management is seeking a Private Markets Analyst Intern to work in our Buckhead, GA corporate office. This position will assist the Investment Team in accomplishing the overall goal of serving our clients. This is a paid internship, beginning May 24, 2027, and running through July 30, 2027. Candidates must submit a letter of interest to be considered. Requirements

  • Must be a rising senior, working towards a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have a genuine interest in investment management, financial markets, and portfolio analysis.
  • Client-focused professional who demonstrates integrity, strong interpersonal skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills, follow-through, and a proactive mindset suited to fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Ability to successfully pass criminal background / credit check required.
  • Candidates should expect to be in an HB office 5 days per week.
  • Candidates must be local or willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Private Investment team members by screening new investment opportunities.
  • Using fund marketing materials & independent research to generate profiles on pre-identified Private Debt and Private Equity managers.
  • Presenting investment opportunities to the team as they enter the pipeline and recommending opportunities for due diligence.
  • Participating in due diligence meetings with Private Debt and Private Equity managers and taking meeting notes for Private Investment team members.
  • Writing sections of final Investment Committee memos about new potential investments.
  • Interns may be involved in research projects to identify actionable investment opportunities within a particular asset class, sector, and/or geography.
  • Attend investment manager calls/meetings to assist with notetaking.
  • Participate in weekly Private Debt & Equity Committee meetings.
  • Review fund materials to develop investment recommendation skills.
  • Assist with due diligence and performance benchmarking tasks.
  • End of internship capstone project and presentation.
