About The Position

PhotoFax, Inc., a nationwide private detective agency, is hiring surveillance investigators in the greater Fond du Lac, Wisconsin region. The role involves working autonomously in dynamic environments to conduct covert surveillance and document observations. PhotoFax provides a customized company vehicle, the equipment needed for the job, training, and licensing. No previous experience is necessary.

Investigators receive pre- and post-surveillance briefings with a case manager to discuss objectives, tactics, and case details. The position includes occasional regional travel, sometimes with overnight stays, and requires flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. The role may provide experience that can lead to opportunities in investigations, law enforcement, upper claims management, or growth within PhotoFax.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record with minimal infractions.
• Currently reside in the greater Fond du Lac, Wisconsin region.
• Flexibility to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays.
• No previous experience is necessary; the company provides training and licensing.

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in criminal justice, criminology, or law enforcement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, pursue, and covertly document individuals from a company-issued, customized surveillance vehicle.
• Participate in pre- and post-surveillance briefings with a case manager to discuss objectives, surveillance tactics, and case details.
• Prepare detailed reports on daily case observations.
• Upload video evidence to the company database.
• Travel regionally as needed in the company-issued vehicle.
