About The Position

Rhinegeist Brewery's Private Events Department is seeking dedicated, part-time staff to assist with beverage service for various events including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings held in their private event spaces. The company emphasizes a community-focused culture, believing in the power of beer to foster connections and innovation, and is committed to providing memorable experiences.

Requirements

Experience in the hospitality industry required.
Ability to safely and diligently execute COVID-19 compliant procedures (training provided).
Knowledge and experience in properly identifying individuals.
Must have at least 2 days of availability each week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
Ability to move up to 50 lbs.
Basic wine & cocktail knowledge.

Nice To Haves

ServSafe Certified (will provide if needed).
Certified Cicerone Beer Server (training provided).

Responsibilities

Set up and break down of bars and event spaces.
Take orders and serve beverages to guests.
Interact with guests in a friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and confident manner.
Maintain clean, organized, and stocked work areas.
Collect, clean, and maintain all barware before, during, and after events.
Execute bar/table service and BOH duties efficiently for each event.
Observe events for underage drinking and over-intoxication.
Address complaints or problems with a positive, hospitable attitude.
Collaborate with management.
Assist management and event coordinators with event needs.
Work as a team with Rhinegeist event staff to ensure optimal client and guest experiences.
Perform other assigned tasks.
