Private Duty Weekend Nurse (RN/LPN) - WOW Hourly Incentive
About The Position
BrightStar Care Louisville has an immediate need for Private Duty Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) in the Louisville, KY area for weekend shifts. We offer full and part-time shifts for Weekend Days & Overnights (3rd shift) with an hourly incentive. Our patients require skilled bedside care, including g-tube/trach/vent/SP cath care. Requirements
- Current unrestricted RN or LPN license in Kentucky
- Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Minimum one (1) year of documented experience required
- Licensed driver with valid automobile insurance
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to commute/relocate: Louisville, KY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Bedside care preferred
- Experience with g-tubes, trachs/vent and cath care preferred
- Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Provide thoughtful care to client & patients based on personalized Plan of Care
- Monitor and track changes in the client/patient’s conditions and needs, and keeps the Nurse Manager and any other appropriate personnel informed
- Proactively updates client/patients’ family on plan of care, health changes, and concerns
- Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and organization skills needed
