About The Position

The agency is hiring compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide one-on-one home healthcare for adult and pediatric clients. Nurses work in clients’ homes and may receive training in G-tube, trach, and ventilator care from nursing supervisors. The agency provides home care services and describes itself as Joint Commission Accredited, with more than thirty-eight years of experience.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted nursing license in Maryland or a multistate compact license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of G-tube and trach care; qualified and interested candidates may be trained.
• Ventilator experience; qualified candidates may be trained.
• Pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client’s home.
• Complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient’s Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
