About The Position

The agency is hiring compassionate, energetic Licensed Practical Nurses and Registered Nurses to provide one-on-one home healthcare to adult and pediatric clients in their homes. The agency is willing to train qualified, interested nurses in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care. Nursing supervisors provide teaching and support.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Maryland nursing license or multistate compact license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Confidence working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of G-tube and tracheostomy care; qualified and interested candidates may be trained.
• Ventilator experience; qualified candidates may be trained.
• Pediatric experience.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one in the client's home.
• Complete nursing assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's Plan of Care.
• Document nursing notes clearly and concisely.
