About The Position

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide private duty nursing care for an infant patient requiring trach and vent support. This is a high-acuity position focused on delivering compassionate homecare and achieving outstanding clinical outcomes. The role involves working in the patient's home in Newport News, VA, with a specific night shift schedule. Requirements

• Must have and maintain an active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of residence within 90 days.
• Current CPR certification (with hands-on component).
• TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
• Reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide private duty nursing care to an infant patient.
• Administer care for a patient with g-tube, trach, and vent.
• Ensure outstanding clinical outcomes.
• Deliver care with heartfelt compassion and empathy.
• Utilize electronic documentation via a tablet in the patient's home.
