About The Position

Home Care Network is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide private duty nursing services for a client in Fairborn, Ohio. This position offers a unique combination of a small but consistent weekly schedule of 4 hours/wk, flexible weekday daytime hours, optional PRN opportunities, one-on-one client care, and excellent work-life balance. This is a long-term employment opportunity, not temporary, contract, or short-term. It is designed for individuals not seeking a traditional full-time schedule, such as retired nurses, stay-at-home parents, nurses re-entering the workforce, nursing students nearing graduation, nurses working PRN elsewhere, or those who simply enjoy caring for clients without a large weekly commitment. While this specific client assignment has limited hours, qualified nurses interested in increased hours may have opportunities for additional cases after 30 days. HCN will seek available new cases and offer priority to nurses in their target geography. In addition to the consistent 4 hours/wk, PRN opportunities may include client visits, coverage for vacations and leaves, additional private duty cases, and supplemental nursing assignments. Participation in PRN work is optional and not guaranteed. This role allows nurses to maintain clinical practice, stay engaged, supplement income, and balance work with other commitments. The position involves skilled nursing functions in accordance with regulations, physician orders, and agency policies, delivering client-centered care in the home environment while collaborating with the RN Case Manager and Clinical Leadership Team.
