About The Position
BrightStar Care San Antonio is hiring compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses to provide skilled Private Duty Nursing care to patients in their homes. Full-time, part-time, and PRN positions are available. The position is in person in San Antonio, Texas. Nurses provide one-to-one care, follow the physician-prescribed plan of care, document care, administer prescribed medications and therapies, and teach and train family members.
Requirements
- Hold an LVN license in good standing in the state of Texas.
- Work in person in San Antonio, Texas.
- Relocate to San Antonio before starting work, as required by one listing.
Nice To Haves
- CD-LPN/LVN certification is preferred.
- Relocation to San Antonio before starting work is preferred by one listing.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment.
- Execute the physician-prescribed plan of care and document care provided in the system of record.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Provide health-promotion teaching and train family members.
