About The Position
BrightStar Care San Antonio is hiring compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide skilled Private Duty Nursing (PDN) care to patients in their homes. The role provides one-to-one patient care in a home environment and is available as full-time, part-time, or PRN work. The job is in person in the San Antonio, Texas area.
Requirements
- Hold an LVN license in good standing in the state of Texas.
- Be able to commute to San Antonio, TX 78238 (required).
Nice To Haves
- CD-LPN/LVN certification (preferred).
- Relocate to San Antonio, TX 78238 before starting work (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one patient care in a home environment.
- Execute physicians’ prescribed plans of care and document care provided compliantly in the system of record.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Provide health-promotion teaching and train family members.
