Private Duty Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a compassionate LPN for a day-shift position providing 1:1 care to pediatric clients. This role offers a consistent schedule that matches your family’s life while making a meaningful impact. Private duty nursing offers traditional shift types (8’s, 10’s, or 12's), hands-on care with one client, building client relationships, and watching their milestones. Client age ranges from infant to geriatric. Your day will involve traveling to one client home near you on a schedule you choose, following up with, executing, and properly documenting doctors' orders, performing assessments and monitoring clients' conditions, and documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations. We care for clients of all ages, diagnoses, and acuity levels and offer a multitude of paid training options to ensure nurses feel comfortable and competent on their first shift.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state
- A minimum of five months of LPN experience
Responsibilities
- Providing 1:1 care to pediatric clients
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluation
