About The Position

Centria Healthcare is hiring compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide essential, one-on-one in-home support. This role involves working with clients in a private home setting to help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent. The position is in a pet-free home environment.

Requirements

CNA, HHA, or equivalent experience in home care preferred
Experience working with fall-risk and mobility-impaired clients strongly desired
Comfortable assisting with safe transfers and personal care tasks
Reliable, patient, and attentive to individual needs
Comfortable working in a private home setting (no pets)
Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
Strong oral and written communication skills
Comfortable using tablets/computers for documentation
Valid Driver’s License (Required for client transportation)
Proof of Auto Insurance (with your name listed on the policy)
Current CPR Certification
Clear Background Check
Negative TB Test Results

Responsibilities

Assist with safe client transfers and mobility support to prevent falls
Provide timely medication reminders
Provide transportation to grocery stores and medical appointments
Assist with light household upkeep and maintaining a clean, safe environment
Provide basic personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressing
Monitor and assist with oxygen therapy as needed
Prepare light meals, snacks, or drinks upon request
Offer companionship and emotional reassurance throughout the shift
Assist in positioning and turning to prevent discomfort
Document and report changes in client condition promptly
Respond to emergencies following proper procedures
Perform duties as outlined in the patient’s plan of care
Follow professional standards, care policies, and local/state/federal requirements
