About The Position

Come join our F&B team as a full-time Private Dining Coordinator! We are AT&T Hotel and Conference Center located in the heart of UT Campus, Hook 'em! Principle Responsibilities & Position Purpose: Lead the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives that maximize revenue and profitability for the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center's Outlets and Campus Club in order to achieve budget and revenue targets. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Collaborate with the hotel outlets and the Campus Club in the development, implementation and achievement of their annual business goals. Implement a robust outside sales program to generate private event and campus club opportunities Be the primary resource for all Campus Club Members to assist with billing, parking, reservations, and other Member services. Manage and lead the Campus Club monthly newsletter development with relevant F&B, event, and member information content with the Marketing Team’s support. Actively participate in the sales process via customer meetings, entertainment and attendance at customer and other relevant industry events. Respond in a timely manner to all Private Function inquiries, create and distribute BEO, provide Billing information and assist in the set up implementation of all events Active participation in lunch service at the Carillon to be the “face of the Campus Club”. SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function determined by management based upon the particular requirements of the company. Participate in industry organizations. Maintain an open line of communication between guests, employees, and management. Input and retrieve information from computer system for file maintenance, correspondence and preparation of forecasts and marketing input. Actively participate in the Food and Beverage meeting providing upcoming business updates Actively engage with Culinary Management to maintain up to date seasonal Private function menus

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • TABC and ServSafe Food Handler’s Certifications

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Hotel Experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Related Field Preferred but not required
